Dr. Davis is so nice, the best dentist ever. If you need a dentist, Dr. Davis is the one!
Stacey is a passionate dental hygienist with many years of experience. What she loves most about her profession is her interactions with patients. “I love the stories the patients and I share during our time together. I love hearing about their travels, family, pets, and more.” Stacey’s dental experience not only gives patients at Eagle Rivershore Dental beautiful smiles as they walk out the door, but her warmth and personal interest gives them something to smile about.
Although initially a business major Stacey was drawn to the science and health courses in college. She decided to switch her career path to dental hygiene. Stacey was familiar with the profession of dental hygiene. Her mother was a dental hygienist who, by the time she retired, had practiced for over 40 years. In fact, Stacey’s grandmother was also a dental hygienist, graduating from dental hygiene school in New York in 1933. After the age of 90, grandma still loved keeping up with the profession with her daughter and granddaughter. (Read more about this family legacy by reading this article published in RDH magazine.)
Stacey has been an enthusiastic advocate for dental health her entire professional career. She has continually volunteered in community dental care events and was nominated to the California Dental Hygiene House of Delegates many years in a row. She volunteered many years with the local dental hygiene association and was also the president for over a year. She taught dental hygiene senior clinic at Carrington College in San Jose for over nine years and still co-teaches laser certification courses in California. It’s obvious that Stacey loves learning as she consistently attends many continuing education courses annually.
Married for over 30 years, Stacey loves spending time with their daughter, their Marine son-in-law and their two “exceptional” grandchildren. She also loves being outdoors gardening and exercising.
We’re grateful to have Stacey on our Eagle Rivershore Dental team and for the experience and warmth she brings to our dental family.
From an early age, Olivia wanted to work in the medical field. In high school she wasn’t sure where until a friend who enrolled in a dental assisting program told her how much she loved it. As soon as she graduated from Middleton High School Olivia enrolled in the Carrington College dental assisting school in Boise, “and I enjoyed it right off the bat.”
Olivia trained in orthodontic (teeth straightening) and endodontic (root canal specialist) practices then, after graduation, worked in an oral surgery practice before joining Dr. Davis at Eagle Rivershore Dental. Her professional objective is to help patients reach their individual dental health goals. But her day-to-day love is meeting and building relationships with her patients.
“Each patient has a story and is usually willing to share it. Listening to my patients helps me create a bond with them and that helps them feel welcome each time they return to the office.”
One thing many people don’t know about Olivia is that when she was younger she had dreams of owning a flower shop. In high school she was involved in the FFA Floriculture program for three years. Floriculture is the study of flowers, flower care, and floral arranging. She and her team placed in the state competition all three years.
Away from Eagle Rivershore Dental Olivia is the youngest of three children and loves her time with her family, especially her 6 nieces and nephews. But her focus may change soon as she’s newly married. Into her marriage she brought her labrador/golden retriever, Nikki, and a love for camping and boating. She also loves to paint, preferring landscape or still life painting, merging her love for the outdoors and for flowers.
One thing most of our patients appreciate about Olivia is her quiet compassion and her genuine interest in them. We’re grateful to have Olivia as part of our Eagle Rivershore Dental family.
Registered Dental Hygienist
When you call or walk into our office the first person you’re likely to talk to is Linda. Patients are struck by her warmth and her kind way of putting them at ease. Linda’s first job out of high school was at the front desk of a dental office. After marrying her husband, when their first child came along she poured her creativity, her energy, and even her administrative skills into her family. That family eventually numbered 5 boys and 3 girls. With her family mostly raised she returned to dentistry when she joined Dr. Davis at Eagle Rivershore Dental.
Linda finds joy in serving others. When she met her husband, she learned that his parents were both deaf. Her desire to be part of their lives motivated her to study American Sign Language. She eventually became an interpreter for the deaf allowing her to make a difference in the lives of so many others. This desire to serve has also led her to use her artistic gifts of creating beauty through sewing, quilting, and designing as a volunteer with Artisans for Hope, an organization that helps refugees settling in Boise to “Connect, Learn, Create, and Earn”.
Linda loves exploring the outdoors with her husband and family in camping, hiking, and water sports. When asked what she considers to be her greatest personal accomplishments she is quick to respond, “Raising a bunch of great kids.”
Linda’s optimistic heart, warming smile, and passion for making people feel like they belong really makes our patients feel at home in our office. She states that what she loves about our office are the relationships she builds with our patients. “I love seeing my patients happy as they leave.”
One patient recently summed up Linda’s personality and role at Eagle Rivershore Dental when she succinctly observed, “Linda is very sweet. She runs the show.”
Dr. Greg Davis’s passion in dentistry is helping people feel better and more confident about their smiles. With a dental degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, he went on to complete a post graduate Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency followed by two years of dental service with the USAF. After completing his Air Force service Dr. Davis purchased a private dental practice in Eagle, Idaho, 23 years ago.
Dr. Davis loves the “people aspect” of his work. His patients are also friends. As one patient recently offered, “[He’s] always interested in what [I’m] up to…. He's very soft spoken, a gentlemen, a family man—just a really nice person.”
The real love of Dr. Davis’s life, however, is Terry, his wife of 32 years, and their four children. He lists his personal passions as his family, great dentistry, mountain biking, and perhaps fly fishing … in that order. His community involvement includes youth sports where he can instill his love for a healthy, active lifestyle in young people.
Dr. Davis’s priorities in the dental care of his patients are, first, their dental and overall health. Then it’s about “helping people feel better and more confident about their smile.” His approach to treating his patients can best be summed up by one of his patients,
“He takes good care of me. He let's me know what he feels needs to be done and let's me, then, decide what I want to do. No pressure. I appreciate that.”
